At Berwick we pride ourselves on providing excellence in Calisthenics, whilst nurturing each pupils love of the sport in a fun and family orientated environment. Every student is given the opportunity to become the best calisthenic pupil they can become, with the encouraging guidance of our qualified coaches.
At Berwick our minimum ratio of qualified coach to student ratio is 1:10 with our younger sections having cadet coaches as extra helpers bringing the ratio to 1:3 or 4.
Berwick Calisthenics Club is a Premier level club, based in the City of Casey in the heart of Berwick with our very own venue.
What is Calisthenics?
Calisthenics is a uniquely Australian artistic and competitive sport, combining dancing, singing gymnastics and technical skill in one fun weekly class. It builds strong, confident performers through teamwork, friendship and performance.
Our classes cater for ages 3–26yrs+, with students learning 3–6 routines each year (depending on age), incorporating ballet, gymnastics, march, singing, dance and apparatus.
Classes run from February to November, with competitions held from July to October.
